Summer Work for 8th Grade ELA

Hi everyone and welcome to 8th grade!

This is my blog, where you will find information about summer work.

Summer work:

Over the summer, please read a minimum of three books (your choice!) and complete three Literature Logs. The format is linked here. If you would like to make a copy and fill out the literature log online, please print a version to hand in. If you would like to hand write them, please ensure they are as legible as possible!

A note about next year:

In my class I require students to arrive each day with an outside reading book to use if they finish their work early, or I give silent reading time. I have plenty of books to lend out, and the Jamestown School Library and Jamestown Philomenian Library are also great places to check for something new to read!

Email me at Connelly.Cornelia@JamestownSchools.org with any questions. I will be checking my work email regularly throughout the summer.
